OK.
Anyway…
Who?
… And who?
Co-founder of OpenAI left the company and went to a rival AI company that currently has the best model. This could signify that he thinks OpenAI is a sinking ship.
Or that they have better benefits, deeper pockets, more of a challenge, will actually listen to him, etc. people change jobs all the time.
He’s the co-founder of a wildly successful company though, not just a regular employee. It’s definitely not normal for him to bail and work for the rival company.
It was more money.
It’s always more money.
Ah so we‘ve reached the outbidding stage of the bubble where corporations try to snoop talent from rivals with increasingly larger options.
