    We’ve always said it… We need MORE trees, not less.

    Instead we get more asphalt or pavement

    Any way that could be scaled up? Like can the microbes be cultivated into air filters and sequestered into land fills if they can run out of space to store the removed methane?

      I believe that’s called a wetland. Good news: it does double duty as a river filter too! Bad news: it stinks, bugs love it, and you can’t built riverfront property there.

          There was a guy who basically just dug a lake and let plants grow (in portugal I think?). In just a couple years a bunch of endangered species turned up, including herons. I saw a documentary about it several years ago, but I couldn’t find it.
