GM decided it would be best to remove its oh-so-popular Chevy Bolt from production and to focus instead on its Silverado EV and Equinox EV. For a variety of reasons, including loyal customer outcry, that may not have been the best GM corporate decision ever. However, for anyone now looking to purchase a used Chevy Bolt, the time is ideal to do so.
A used Chevy Bolt is a good vehicle to drive because of its reasonable purchase price, dependable battery-electric drivetrain, battery warranty, perfectly acceptable range, and comfortable styling.
Had one of these and hated it.
The coolest thing about it was you could throw it in reverse at 60MPH and then drive it in reverse at 60MPH LOL
Have a bolt EUV and love it. No issues with the seat personally. Does seem like I can spin the tires easy if I’m not paying attention. But on the whole it’s fun to drive and cost effective to own.
Same. Think they’re pretty comfortable actually. Ours has become the main family vehicle and it’s great all around, no complaints.
Yeah I had a 2017. I think they updated the seats.
I drove one as a rental and it was alright, but I agree with you on the seats and the charging is waaaaaaayyyyyyyy too slow. Holy cow. My Ioniq 5 charges in like 15 minutes to almost full depending on where I started charging at. The bolt takes like an hour.
Yeh, 50kW charging is a huge drawback, can’t believe they never fixed that. Even 150kW would do the trick.
