Maybe that’s exactly what you’re saying … and yeah, I guess that makes things a bit more second class, but as someone that’s switched all my GPUs on Linux boxes over to AMD, I don’t even have GUI settings. That’s a pretty minor thing.
If the roadmap is for it to stay how it is, they’re not looking into changing it. And nvidia’s gui and cli settings are the same program, the one that’s read only on wayland
