To be clear, I am talking mostly about defederation, but also about a development roadmap which removes them from the critical path. Mostly because I don’t trust them, but also because they make building an open source community that much more difficult. I have a bunch of accounts on various Lemmy instances but I’ve made piefed my home for now because it represents a path away from tankie adjacent development.
