This one’s definitely worth a play if you like the franchise. The writing is hilarious as usual, and there are some extremely cool environments in it.

I was looking for a looter shooter and tried this out a few months ago.
I found there to be just too much loot. Mobs died and dropped 4+ weapons. I was having to leave stuff behind and get overwhelmed with choice anxiety.
This has pretty much been standard for borderlands games since the inception, as well as looters in general. You just have to shift your perspective on the loot-- starting out you pick up everything, then past a certain point you start ignoring common drops entirely, then you can ignore tier 2, etc.
The way to look at it is that as you level your character what was formerly loot becomes garbage :)
Yeah, like the other person said this is normal for the borderlands games.

try BL3-- there’s a gun that shoots guns LOL
This game hits hard if you played borderlands 2
Would suggest you skip paying for the DLC here because it’s not as good or as fleshed out as other borderlands DLC

I completely forgot this game existed. I’m was planing to buy it when it released but forgot to do it, still not gonna claim it tho too lazy to log in to my dusty epic account maybe I’ll buy it on Steam later.
Split screen being a console exclusive made this game a let down for me
