Aside from this stupid decision by the publisher (now fixed I guess?), this game is absolutely fantastic on Deck. The Switch port of this doesn’t even compare. I played these games to completion back in the day, and playing it on Deck feels discovering it for the first time again.
You may be able to get it to work on desktop Linux too in offline mode by using SteamDeck=1 %command% as a Steam launch option for the game, which likely won’t work for Windows since the Steam Deck is just a Linux machine.
