Former President Donald Trump’s supporters say they hold him as a source of true information over their family, friends, and religious leaders, according to a new CBS News/YouGov poll out on Sunday.

Bruh your lucky. I have some family members and co-workers that unironically believe democrats bath in the blood of children and have Satanic sex orgy rituals where they sacrifice kids to the devil.

They think Trump is the literal, like no joke, literal second coming of Christ. I live in the south but not even deep south and this is like, regular shit I hear from them. Nothing I say matters, they’d rather belive whatever fox news or Q says. It’s heartbreaking and it annoys me greatly when people say I should just “talk to them, or show them the facts”. Like bitch do you think I haven’t? They don’t care about facts, in their minds Republican party is the party of Jesus, and anyone who represents Jesus can’t be wrong or lie, that is as far as the thought process goes, then they start telling me to watch out for all those Indians and middle easterns moving in and to be careful in “those” neighborhoods…

Sorry, kinda went on a rant, it just hurts seeing how the people I grew up with telling me to be kind and tolerant and skeptical of things people say acting like this.

I live in the deep south (as deep as it gets) but admittedly I dont know a lot of people who worship trump because I tend to stay away from political discussions in person.

Unfortunately it is for more of my own safety. The political climate is more radical than ever on both sides, to the point where even politicians are more sane than their followers (key word there).

People are so uneducated politically speaking that they worship people who actually went against their views because they were essentially told “they were a great guy”. Republicans with JFK for instance.
