My scales started dropping below 0 after turning on. It would go on for a few seconds, then I’d null it and go about my business.
Turns out the battery needed replacing.

My electronic scale has been iffy lately as well. The numbers have been way off, but somehow proportionally so. I made pizza dough a few weeks ago using the same recipe I always use, but ended up with about 50% more than usual. It was just as good, just had too much.
