So I got the thought that american football incorporates any type of physique.

Say I would restart in america, which position may I be trained in given I joined an american football team? Post your physique and let passioned footballers answer it.

I am 6’3", good sprinter, physically resistant, average at about 190 lbs and can’t throw things.

What position I am good for (and what does it do)?

// edit: I could have been a receiver but I am a safety (sounds wrong tbqh).

I am way more straight-to-the-door then agile.

My kick is below average for my height; But I am precise. But anyhow a punter (upright-kicker?) can be given way more talent I suppose.

How is the position of the killers named; And what’s their key attribute?

Let’s step back for context. The offense has a thrower, some catchers, a runner or two, and a bunch of huge guys who try to create a human wall.

For each offensive position there is a matching killer on the defense. Linemen (tackles and ends) try to destroy the offensive wall. Linebackers try to kill the thrower and runners. Corners try to kill the catchers. Safeties try to kill anyone who has the ball, mostly catchers but sometimes runners.

There are the guys that do the tackling - I think they’re called tackles? Tacklers? Offensive front line backers? Killers are something like that, I think. They’re the guys who are built like a literal refrigerator.

Also, there’s the defensive blocker types. They might just be called blockers. Also built like refrigerators or brick walls. Not usually built for a lot of running, and really unlikely to get pushed over right away.

      I’m helping! ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯
