Be it a general life or lifestyle advice, a product recommendation or an unexpectedly good answer to a question post, regardless of whether it was directed to you or someone else
When you don’t know what to do, do nothing.
It’s okay to not stay busy.
I’d like to make sure people understand doing nothing is doing nothing. Not scrolling on your phone. Not watching a movie. Take a moment to just sit and be there. Being bored is important for us
Was that your comment I read? I didn’t save the post. It had really good advice.
I learned how to not poop for three days
I thought shit just works was about shitting regularly???
Contrary to popular belief, sometimes shit doesn’t happen.
Oh there’s a few:
-
use FreeTube
-
Switch to Firefox and use uBlock
-
Toast your muesli
-
A nice list of recommended anime to watch, I’m going through it
Could you elaborate on “Toastyour muesli”? What do you mean? Do you put it in a pan?
Yes! A pan is an option. Another option is on a tray in the oven, low heat. Another option and my preferred one is add some water to make a paste, and bake as clusters.

I would add to this to consider facts but context as well, facts can bring a misrepresented reality when they are presented as an argument without taking into account the whole background that produces them.
So far nothing really but I’ll offer a big one here:
Don’t let perfect be the enemy of better.
Well, there were a few people I should have listened to earlier about defederating a certain instance.
I’m gonna guess either lemmygrad, or more likely hexbear lol
Get a bidet
Listen to No Such Thing As A Fish
Switch to open source and privacy respecting apps on Android
It’s just a podcast, no thanks
So happy I recently got my ex to listen to it even though she already has too much media to consume :)
Yes! Excellent advice, both of them.
A bit of advice I received prompted me to change my resume and start non hunting again. Also helped with the imposter syndrome some.

Switching from Cloudflare DNS to NextDNS.
And probably other stuff too, but I don’t remember.
Nah swap to
dns.adguard.com
. Has all the benefits and built in ad/tracker blocking.Whats the reason that made you move away from cloudflare?
NextDNS gives me more control. It can do stuff like ad blocking, tracker blocking and rewrites (same as
/etc/hosts
). It has many blocklists available.Disadvantage is limit of 300,000 DNS queries/month on the free account, but it’s enough for personal use.
However, where DoT or DoH isn’t available, I still use 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
Brave browser is bad

Yeah, you brought that one on yourself. Next time don’t make an ignorant and bigoted post if you don’t want to be called an ignorant bigot.
Hey now, don’t be like that. Cis people think you’re an idiot as well.
Found one.
I looked up your comment history and saw the comment in question.
Changes in the anconym may not be meaningful to you. I don’t keep up on it either, to be honest. But to the people it does include, it’s very meaningful. I think this is one of those “put yourself in their shoes” type things. You shouldn’t be dismissive.
I don’t condone hateful replies towards you either. It doesn’t help anything.
That’s the problem with these people though, they can’t put themselves in others shoes. They can’t see past the end of their own nose to try and understand what life is like for someone else.
Yeah, I can’t argue that. Lots of hate in the world, and so much of it from people just like you describe.
Maybe this person is different. Maybe not. Worst case, my approach changes nothing. But, maybe it will.
You consider that “the most hateful kind”? Internet responses, really? Toughen up buttercup. Other people can run their mouth just as much as you. Don’t be so fragile.
Die mad about you bigotted shit stain.
