I dunno, part of me is ok with it. It’s clear to me how bad things are going to get. So having certain platforms or spaces with some level of public identity validation seems like it might be ok…

The sciences are really my last bastion of hope these days. I’m constantly amazed at the rate of discovery these days and how they at least show a glimmer of hope for the future.
Do we know that though? I’m genuinely just curious because it seems to me like it would be at least somewhat diminished.
Has this been studied? I’d be very curious to see how much the risk is diminished.
