Consider me whooshed then. Didn’t see the first parts
Doesn’t really work without the setup
Getting the chassis would be hard, usually that’s not a “part”. But you could by a second hand/wrecked car and refurbish it with parts. It will be expensive and not easy, but possible.
Sounds like their strategy from 10 years ago.
Family Link. You can whitelist apps, get screen time stats, and if your kid needs an app, when they try install it it will ask your approval.

Bit of a pain getting the accounts setup, but otherwise works very well for preventing my grandma filling her tablet with junk.
I think its better to keep your gateway basic, and run extra services on a separate raspi or similar. Let your router/gateway focus on routing packets.
Openwrt can run Adguard, and as long as your gateway can run docker, you can probably get pihole working.
You really don’t want tests to prevent voting. They will be used entirely for voter supression.
Even better, it makes your rejection explicit. Someone who doesn’t nake the effort to turn up to the polls isnt worth chasing their vote. Someone who turns up and says “Y’all shit” is a swing voter who can be swayed with the right policies. (Of course this all requires a healthy democracy without geremandering fuckery).
“And that’s why I wear a condom while horse riding”
Jokes aside, there can be too much safety gear, especially if it gets in the way of building technique.

Yeah, that is an option, gotta make sure the don’t breed out of control though. Given the world isnt going to instantly stop eating meat, this is realistically what will happen as demand drops.
This isnt an meat vs plants thing, that is as you say, established.
But for a given item of food, acquiring it locally instead of shipping it from overseas is always going to be better.
Don’t read too much into the URL, seems there is a wealth of information there (Although there are likely some author biases as play).
Interestingly, most of the beef greenhouse gasses are from them producing methane during their lifetime. Which means if your goal is to prevent greenhouse gasses, not eating them isnt enough, you also need to cull the herds as well, which I doubt is gonna make many vegans happy either.
I still personally believe buying local is probably the best bet, and that you’ll go mad trying to look up every ingredients impact, but good luck :)
You have a notebook. On the first page, you put a table of contents. As you fill in pages, you note them down in the table of contents at the start.
When you want to delete a page, instead of erasing the whole page now (there are hundreds free still, why waste the effort), you erase the entry in the table of contents.
Now if someone finds your notebook, according to the table of contents there is no file at page X. But if they were to look through every single page, they would be able to find the page eventually.
This is loosely how file systems work. You can’t really use it to boost storage, the number of pages is finite, and if you need to write a new page, anything not listed in the contents is fair game to be overwritten.
A big part of it will be transport costs. Anything you get from a local farmers market will be infinitely better than what you get shipped around the world.

My purely anecdotal opinion, once you get into university and higher education, everyone is a bit autistic and socially stunted. Its almost a prerequisite.
The malware argument is a bit weak, if your router is vulnerable to something it’ll likely be found and pwnd in a matter of minutes, so turning it off a night won’t really save you. And once a patch is released, it’ll be reverse engineered in a few hours/days, so ideally you want patches as soon as they are released.
Using your own device is usually a good idea anyway, telco stuff is usually pretty mediocre. And as soon as your device is slightly custom, it becomes a less valuable target.
