Diddy: Please stop
I’m enjoying my random unappealable sitewide ban
Now that I’ve found Lemmy, I don’t plan on going back
That’s not a shower thought, that’s shower research
Welcome to the club
I politely asked a mod about a subreddit rule and got a sitewide banhammer for harassing a mod
I appealed a few weeks ago and they never responded
Their system won’t let me send another appeal because it says I’ve already sent one
I had been on reddit for over 10 years, the whole thing is absolutely wild to me
I was livid until I found Lemmy, I much prefer this over reddit. It feels like old reddit and I even got my 3rd party app back!
“Don’t be evil”
Not feeling so bad about receiving a random banhammer now
This gets me every time
What exactly counts as the mainstream media nowadays?
Cable news?
I haven’t had cable TV for probably 20 years now.
Internet news?
Which ones? There seems to be an endless number of them
I’m beginning to suspect that my odd sitewide ban after 10 years on reddit was intentional
Your speedometer likely wasn’t accurate before the tire size change
I use my phone as a nav device pretty much everywhere I go with different rental cars and the speedometer is never accurate to the GPS measured speed or the radar based speed limit warning signs I see sometimes
The GPS always matches the radar signs, so I tend to trust it and use it more than the factory speedometer
Probably about 20 years
It’s only the Gulf of America in the United States lol
Apartheid Clyde?
Likely
It’s the Sea of Japan all over again!
Whoa, less than 15 years on a life sentence. Thankfully Trump is here to remind us that crime does pay.
Brigadier generals are nominated by the president and confirmed by the senate
U.S. law explicitly limits the total number of general officers who may be on active duty. The total number of active duty general officers is capped at 218 for the Army, 62 for the Marine Corps, 170 for the Air Force, and 21 for the Space Force.
All brigadier generals must retire after five years in grade or 30 years of service, whichever is later
If he’s a brigadier general then he’s one of the few and he’s gonna be an older dude
