You are correct, however the reality is more nuanced. Good luck getting any of the old people in my family to try a different app for messaging. You can set it up for them, but hoo boy, “fixing” it when they move it or something else is a full time job and not worth the effort.
There is a lot more to humor than just dad jokes and sexist jokes. I’m sure some workplaces are devoid of humor, but there is a lot of space to have good appropriate humor at the workplace. I’m sure this varies from workplace to workplace.

When dealing with for profit comapnies, the answer ALWAYS comes down to money. Money for who might change, but it will never not be about money in some way.
Even when it is not deterministic at a single event, it is at a group of events. I know that sounds contradictory, and there is probably a better way to word that, but for example - if quantum randomness means that you cannot predict where a specific particle will go each time you measure it, you can predict the distribution curve of where the particle will be if you measure it some arbitrarily large number of times.
