I went to my second monster truck show a couple years ago. Took my nephew with me. The first time I was a kid and we had to leave because the noise made my bitch ass little brother cry.
They’ve come so far! They’re doing front flips now in those trucks! Highly recommend it for anyone. I was 39 at the time and I loved every minute.
I’ve only been in a helicopter once, but that was the coolest. Parasailing being pulled by a boat was also very fun.

Ever been a manager of a store? I have. I did six years as general manager of a Papa John’s. It was fucking terrible but I learned people skills while absolutely losing my mind in rage almost every day at the stupidity of the average customer and employee. This was an extremely high volume store. It was franchise though so maybe managers at a store owned directly by the corporation have more say. I had fucking zero say, just follow orders.
You really think the managers of that particular store made that decision? I mean, it’s possible, but it’s unlikely you’re going to make a difference making a retail manager’s shit day worse.

Good way for people to remember the difference! Even my wife had this one mixed up for a while, and she’s very sensitive to confrontation. So I confronted her and she was angry for a bit but now she says it correctly.

If I see something like a there/their/they’re mistake I just stop reading the comment. Probably unfair of me but I just disregard the person’s opinion. And before anyone wants to tell me that not everyone speaks English as a first language, it’s actually native speakers who make that mistake. People who learned English later in life generally know the difference.
You gotta try it. It’s so cool. The scale is smaller and you can occupy buildings. Playing as the rebel faction you have suicide bombers and technicals that can upgrade in the field from scavenged parts. The fuel air bomb from the other faction is very satisfying. It’s my all time favorite RTS.
Lowe’s is a huge chain of pretty good hardware stores in the US. It seems like all the other big names support terrible politics so I always try to go to Lowe’s unless I can’t find something there and have to go somewhere else. And I go a lot for work.
There’s a free PC remaster that is said to be excellent. I’m trying to learn how to get it to work. It’s been years since I fucked with emulators.
