One of the three carriers in Canada is about to do away with prepaid entirely in December. That said, I have a pretty affordable monthly plan and I buy my phones outright.

But he’s not a woman.
Looks cool! Oh… it’s already on my wishlist!
It’s impressive that he managed to avoid touching any grass for 11 years!
3900 games here.
I guess it’s time to switch to Linux finally.
That wasn’t Good Will Hunting, that was The Dead Poets Society.
No, they hire a lot of temporary foreign workers from India.
That’s what Tim Hortons did in Canada!
Java/Kotlin and JavaScript/Typescript primarily now. I used to know Visual Basic, PHP, C/C++, and COBOL; but I haven’t touched any of them in almost 20 years now.
Even though I won’t be there for it, somehow heat death makes me very sad.
While I agree with others that The Rock or Raising Arizona are likely the best, I also really liked Matchstick Men.
If you want wrestling RPGs I highly recommend Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy.
I loved Pentiment! I found the story really engaging and the setting felt pretty unique.
My company is an HP partner. I use a Lenovo.
I stopped going to Domino’s because of this. I’m not tipping when I’m the one picking up the pizza.

It’s just easier. I have both but I almost never use Mastodon anymore. Federation there doesn’t seem to work right. I didn’t know what an instance was so I joined mastodon.social. Finding and following people in the app doesn’t always seem to work right if they’re on another instance. Doing it in a browser is even more painful.
The people I liked to follow and interact with on X, many tried Mastodon and abandoned it, and many more are now on Bluesky. This creates momentum to “follow the crowd” as it were.
Additionally, you only have one chance to make a first impression. A lot of us tried Mastodon earlier and it wasn’t ready. Bluesky started as invite-only, which drummed up interest before catching this zeitgeist of people leaving X.
Lastly, and maybe it’s just me, but the font sizing on the official Mastodon app on Android is generally too small and can’t be changed. Bluesky allows me to change it and make it more comfortable to use.
