This is just false.
I think people were just bored out of their minds
This was the DLC they made for the rerelease right? How is it? I had never played any of the DLC back in the day, but I bought the rerelease on steam
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a meme of the body chalk outline from this game.
Laurence Fishburne read a letter from a former slave to his old master on this channel. It was actually kind of a touching story, that ended up getting pretty funny towards the end.
Here’s the link to the video.
You really don’t think AAA games are getting bigger because the companies want you to play only their games?
It’s been like that for years, especially on console. Why do you think Warzone takes up so much goddamn space?
Jedi Survivor is 140gb. The MCC is about the same-ish size, but that one literally has six full games in one, plus all the multiplayer and customization.
Just Cause 2 was insanely huge.
That was my experience. Got it at GameStop in sale after it had released, played through the whole thing, then I went and played the first one.
I think I like the second better, but the first one is good for what it is.
I never played Legion.
I feel like Paleo Pines is a decent mix of Animal Crossing and Stardew, with just a tiny bit of ARK thrown in (Dino taming). The art style is honestly so freaking adorable and I can’t get enough of the dino buddies and all their little noises. I think the dev team might all be women, but I’m not 100% on that.
There’s a demo on steam that lets you play through the first three weeks, and you can save and continue, and your progress will transfer to the full game if you decide to get it.
Probably the best cozy game that I’ve played in recent times has been Thank Goodness You’re Here. It’s an incredibly quirky and zany romp through a northern British town full of lively characters and great visuals. The soundtrack is honestly probably one of the best OSTs around in recent years, too. Your only controls are movement, jumping, and slapping things to interact with them.
The entire game can be finished in about 3-ish hours depending on how often you stop to just interact with the world. I honestly can’t recommend the game enough, and I’m not even English.
Doing the Lord’s work
I liked Jedi Survivor.
I know it’s like totally unrelated, but that game was fun.
A little unrelated, but is anyone else tired of the stupid “three episodes to really get the story going”?
Like I feel like all the shows Disney has been among the last few years have all been that way, almost to a T. I didn’t watch one of their shows (except maybe Loki) that didn’t take at least three episodes to even get the plot rolling to begin with.
Imo there’s no reason for this. Anime gets away with doing a bunch of crazy shit up front and then using the rest of the time to build the world and explain what’s going on. I want an action-packed pilot that tells me just enough about the characters to get me hooked, then you can take the second or third episodes to start fleshing out your world.
My town has one. And I honestly wish it didn’t. On one hand I can see why it’s nice to have something like that: quick communication in case an emergency happens, you can tell people directly about events and such that might be happening around the area, you can get to know some of your neighbors if you so choose.
I don’t like it because the one for my town is just your basic chatroom, except everyone knows everyone else lives within 10 miles or so of each other. It feels gross to me, and I’m not entirely sure why. It’s populated by adults anywhere from their 20s to their 50s and 60s, as well as teenagers between the ages of 13-19. It just gives me the ick when I see someone in their 40s being very friendly to a teen in a chatroom.
I mean I will say that apparently Concord has the characters’ preferred pronouns under their name in the top corner of the screen, but I literally had no idea that was even a thing until I saw someone make a post bitching about specifically that. Like even Charlie didn’t notice (or didn’t say anything) either time he played the game.
Taste is always subjective. I watched Charlie play it on YouTube, and he played the whole thing with mouse and keyboard and he fucking loved it. Like he was literally about jump balls deep into the tabletop and mini aspect of the IP.
Also, “pandering to LGBTQ”? A) it’s 40K, which aside from aesthetics is one of the least sexual franchises of all time. B) fuck off with that shit.
I once spent a morning in bed watching this guy replace his roof, rather than do anything else.
He seems to be on top of things.
God, you’re so fucking right. And usually in the Midwest if it’s a local place, the pizza can either be pretty damn good, or just gross and locals will still say it’s the best ever. my city does have a pretty good NY style pizza place though.
That said, I don’t mind my local Papa John’s. Their crust is kinda sweet, and I like that it’s soft.
