That’s because Google removed the support from chrome after only a few months, and Mozilla never added it to Firefox. And although there’s apparently an extension for both, (lossy) image formats need out of the box browser support to have any chance for any kind adoption.

If you realize you’re not having fun, there’s no shame in stopping. For me, the dopamine rush of finally killing a boss after several attempts is worth it. Although the number of attempts I’m willing to put in is quite limited (~15), and I have quit several games after hitting a road block.

Bitch, every valid action for a file is in the diving registry, sorted by file type. Why do you need to think about this?

This is a good place to remind people to check if you can register as a donor in general.
In Germany, DKMS will send you a DIY swabbing kit for free, so it really just takes 10 minutes to register: https://www.dkms.de/registrieren
I’m sure other countries have similar systems in place, because fuck cancer.
Always online cars are mandated by EU regulations, and for a very good reason: automated emergency calls including GPS coordinates in case of crashes.
Other nice benefits include regular map updates.
That said, there is a lot of garbage being attached to the online functionality nowadays. And the way data is collected and handled in the background it at least partially atrocious, so let’s attack that instead of the proverbial baby in the bathwater.

It’s to do with the fact that it’s owned by the same few people”English61·4 months agoSure, but despite all the crypto bros assurances to the contrary, the only real-world applications for it is buying drugs, paying ransoms and getting scammed. Which means that any non-zero amount of energy is too much energy.
Tbh, that would have been extremely simple to come back from: Fire his ass. The issue is that they didn’t.
(Inb4 someone says they cannot fire him for some legal or contract reason: That is a major red flag in and of itself)

Its time to disrupt the system.English71·4 months agoOne thing Amazon is better at (at least here in Germany) is free shipping. But seeing how that is a least partially responsible for creating a cutthroat delivery market, where companies contract out delivery work to barely self-employed drivers for barely any money, paying for shipping doesn’t seem like a bad idea (even though I know the drivers won’t really see any of that money in the end)

Overly broad rules might make that fall under satire, which is why caution is advised when devising such rules.

If they’re bogus patents, they’re rejected and it’s basically just a money transfer to the patent office employees.
I think it’s too early to pick sides here.
According to Krafton’s statement (see the other comment), those 3 didn’t do jack shit regarding the development of Subnautica 2 (I.e. what Krafton promised them 90% of those up to $250M for).
I know the word of the publisher doesn’t count, but unless Krafton fucked up themselves, they should have the paper trail to prove their claims, too.
