True hybrids that can get 50+ mpg are better than ICE for sure. But plug-in hybrids are not the way forward. You can travel 20-30 miles on the tiny electric battery then it’s a full on ICE vehicle and mpg usage. Environmental impact on those plug-in hybrids is way worse the more miles you drive, really only a good fit for low mileage drivers that will be consistent with plugging in at home.

Completely agree with you, I’ve met some amazing men before! The comic really drives home the fact though that the small amount of bad and violent men out there are why women have to always be at least a little on guard to protect ourselves when men approach us. And yes, no doubt there are bad and violent women out there too

MONSTERS, every one of them! To all those impacted by this vote and the recent order from DeWine, this IS. NOT. OVER.

I will fight in every way I can - with my time, energy, and resources. I don’t have answers right now but let’s not give up. Many others will help us too. We have allies still and we have eyes from all over the country that have seen this mistake, and they will help fight to make this right. It may not be quick or easy, but let’s stand up for our rights and do whatever it takes so trans people can keep their medical care decisions between them and their doctors.

And for a moment I thought he’d just be a decent human for a moment after he vetoed HB 68. Let the doctors do the diagnosing and treatments, not the politicians!

Of course coming right after the victory on HB68 getting shot down (thankfully!).

Because surgeries are very rare for anyone under 18, I think the bigger impact to DeWine’s order is the requirement of youth or ADULTS needing to have psychiatric care AND endocrinologist involved as pre-reqs before starting any kind of medical care. This is a bigger deal because some people will be blocked by the religious therapists out there, and in smaller communities finding and endo can be hard and more expensive. This definitely hurts the trans community.

As many others have said… Just really good, uplifting news here that DeWine did his research thoroughly and made the right decision. Some people go off of “what they’ve heard” and believe the lies, without talking to families and doctors (like DeWine did) to find out the reality of the situation.
