Dev boards for different microcontroller and fpga platforms. Also UART to USB adapters because I can never find one when I need one and just end up ordering more.
Anything else I can buy bricks and mortar without much hassle.

Nah nothing that cool. A megacorp that has so much influence that it doesn’t need a military of its own. It knows everything it needs to about everyone, can sway public opinion as it wishes, and will continue to enmesh itself into every aspect of private and public life. It produces no products. We are the products, and we are the consumers.
And it’s already here: Google, Meta, whatever Elon Musk is doing idk.
Aroooooo
Some way of linking to a post somewhere on Lemmy that will open up the post in your logged in instance of Lemmy.
Haha that’s amazing. I think some stories are available in the newsletter for free. But good on them for trying to figure out how to make enough money. They don’t have ads, so it must be tough.
I give monthly to hellgatenyc.com for New York City local news
Not a biologist either. As a thought experiment it seems possible, with two women able to have a daughter, and two men either to have either a daughter or a son.
It sits one step beyond what we’ve already done to produce a child that has (in a sense) three genetic parents: https://www.ox.ac.uk/research/three-parent-baby-raises-issues-long-term-health-risks
Edit: another post already has shared that no, this isn’t possible. Thank you @NOT_RICK@lemmy.world .
Oh I didn’t mean you should move it! I meant that the post is an example of an awesome discussion and high level of helpfulness which should be linked over and celebrated in !bestoflemmy@lemmy.world

Yep, and if I remember correctly there are two more season to come :-(
The original series runs didn’t have that many “topical” episode plots. That’s become the go-to for the new seasons, and some of the topics are already too old to be topical in the way South Park has pulled off. Initial run topical episodes I can think of:
And I think those were still very light connections to current events and more parodies, compared to eyePhone, cryptocurrency, NFTs, fast fashion, antivax…
The VAs have been aging, too, and I feel like their hearts aren’t in it either. I’m going to assume this is a cash grab – Disney is good at extracting as much value out of IP in the short term; from their perspective, there’s only upside to cranking out some more Futurama.
I usually will say or type “community”.
I know we don’t want to get too Science Fiction-y. I can’t help but think about the movie The Europa Report, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Upgrading my computer’s primary storage from a hard disk (HDD) to a solid state drive (SSD). Really young folks on here have no idea how amazing it was for computers to go from taking minutes to start up to taking seconds.
Buying my first cell phone, which was a Nokia smartphone, in 2003. Having email and useful applications in my pocket, including maps and web search.
“I was in the pool!”
ODDTAXI. The intro will pull you in. The dialogue and story will keep you hooked.
But please, use subs. I don’t think the English dub is good enough.
The Spirit and The Mouse is free on Epic Games right now. I’ve been enjoying it - gentle, cute game where you play as a little electric mouse in a french village trying to help it’s citizens. Rough around the edges with a lot of heart.
Also consider a free open source equivalent. I use it on my Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
I think they see it on tv shows or social media influencers, where it allows both sides of a conversation to be heard by the audience. And if TV or Kim Kardashian does it, it must be cool, right?
All I can offer is some fish and bread.
Mostly yes: In a sense, doing anything “permanently and forever” is a big deal. People can change and grow, and a full permanent ban without any opportunity for appeal seems harsh. Very few things should warrant a permaban: one example that comes to mind is willfully attempting to circumvent a temporary ban. Posting spam, too.
Also no: Lemmy isn’t and shouldn’t be a critical part of anyone’s life. If you were forever banned from it, maybe it’s okay.
