There is an old tradition of mappers deliberately placing very small errors to be able to verify the copying of a map. So no, scraping big chunks is a bad idea. But I sometimes check details on the Gmaps satellite image or streetview.

I found that one very cluttered/unintuitive and not at all beginnerfriendly. I resorted to StreetComplete, not quite the same but gives the same feeling while mapping the details from my surroundings. Its soo satisfying!
Yea, but doesnt everything get damaged? And even if its while breaking it down when disposing/recycling/dumping it?
Thats why we have RSS feeds. Thats how I follow Troy
Yea, but the lazy way is to move the whole left hand to the right and pressing a with the ringfinger… Slower and a bad habit but I am doing it since I learned how to type
Yes, maybe use it with a pseudonym account, with several accounts or only when on holidays (on hikes for example, its like geocaching!).
In Switzerland we have sensors in the streets at most crossings. And behind it I assume, is a determinate algorithm whoch decides who has green for how long. This mainly is done to avoid the backing up of one crossing into another.
Street Complete is amazing! Perfect for people who find going on a walk too boring, like me
Story is two years old apparently

A Bittorrent based game you say?
I mean you can probably support all the creators you like in other ways: Buying merch, donating onetime, signing up for a patreon, subscribing to nebula (if they are on there), …
In the country I live in, switzerland, I will rent probably my whole life and I am ol with that. And also my SO is quite a bit shorter, so we cannot just buy and install an extra tall kitchen.
About the two other points: ???
Not OP but the first three things I already experienced today were: Knee and backpain, standing out in a crowd, needing to slightly bend down vor everything in most standard kitchens.
I have a stick dangeling on my keychain too, also in heavy use. But due to my Mac-Friends i need one with usb-c.
So I settled for this:
The hinge is still holding on since almost a year. Also have two of those:
But they seem a lot cheaper, flimsier and I probably got ripped off by a dropshipper.
Havent benchmarked them, if anyone knows of a comparison as good as this one for “dual” usb sticks, let me know!
Wow, Sync seems almost too good to be true, as they are significantly less expensive. Have you experience with it? Are there any drawbacks? Slow speeds or bad integration into Windows Explorer?
Cats are (at least genetically) used to much bigger and more open areas. So no, a house probably doesnt feel that huge like the relative bodysize would suggest.
I mean there are chinese spies in europe, which suppress, bully and sometimes even kill chinese journalists who have fleed (?) to europe. And thats not even a conspiracy theory, there were investigative journalists who have uncovered this in several countries. So I’d say that china is reeealy close to that villain line
Its about ~2-3GB for a movie for me. The Quality isnt great but still better than Netflix streams.
A tierlist for my usecase would have been more useful. :(
