The King is dead. Long live the King. The people going after these sites are just playing a game of whack-a-mole. New sites will always sprout up to fill in the gap.

That’s not far off of something that happened to me once a few years ago. My computer suddenly started struggling one day, and I quickly figured out that my hard drive suddenly had 500 gigs or so of extra data somewhere. I had to find a tool that would let me see how much space a given folder was taking up, and eventually I found an absolutely HUMONGOUS error log file. After I cleared it out, the file rapidly filled up again when I used a program I’d been using all the time. I think it was Minecraft or something. Anyway, my duck tape solution was to just make that log file read-only, since the error in question didn’t actually affect anything else.

This is why, if I ever develop a game, I won’t use the letters or symbols on the buttons. I’ll show a set of four buttons, with the one that needs pressed highlighted.

My opinion on trans athletes is that I lack the qualifications to have an opinion. What happens to the human body during transition should be pretty well-documented by now, though. I’m sure if there’s any real problem, the doctors who work in gender-affirming care would be pretty vocal about it.

Actually worse than square one, because in this scenario, nobody’s picking up the trash.

Bro if everyone moves to the jobs that pay enough to live decently, very important jobs will not get done. Our society needs manual laborers to keep everything from falling apart.

When a handful of colluding parties control the entire supply of something people can’t live without, that’s not a free market. It’s despotism. The parties in control can do anything they want, and anybody who tries to tell them no can be deprived of that resource and left to die.
