You too, always good to start it off right with some good ol Lemmy hot takes on women.
Erase the last thought bubble and replace it with “It was nice to run into her, she’s so sweet,” and you’ll have something a bit more realistic and less incel-y lmao.
Women do actually like each other 🙄
For me, podcasts specifically about going to sleep to them trigger my contrariness too much to be actually relaxing. It’s gotta be on a normal topic that is just the right balance of interesting, but not exiting/engaging.
History typically scratches that itch for me. Dan Carlin’s hardcore history and the history of the English being the two goats that coke immediately to mind. Camp Monsters is also a great one; the rare fiction podcast that I can actually stand, much less relaxes me enough to sleep.
Maybe I’m just tired, but I’m struggling to think of other uses in the kitchen beyond just a warm beverage? Maybe for instant noodles or warming a bottle?
I have that one! Got an electric encore baratza for daily use because husband isn’t as into the ‘ritual’ as I am, but I enjoyed using it quite a bit. I keep it in the cabinet now for any potential power outages; I will then bust it out with my signature look of superiority.
Bro really said that losing all right to bodily autonomy isn’t a good enough reason to dramatically shift someone’s political leaning
You’d think, but unfortunately it do be like that for those of us with female phenotypes.
Why are you feeling the need to have your protein shakes in secrecy?
The second Apple rolled out face ID, I knew this tech was ready and waiting for forced ads
It looks like fabric scraps roughly stuffed with fluff. With a little help/guidance, a five year old could definitely make this. Working with needle and thread isn’t some archaic lost knowledge, lol. I’ve found that if we have faith in them and let them try stuff, kids can do all kinds of stuff we don’t think they should be able to.
If you’re looking for a more schlocky horror experience, give Resident Evil 8 a try! Extremely fun to play with a story that would be kinda ‘eh’ if the performances didn’t elevate it to cult-following b-movie perfection.
Subnautica would be a good game to transition from the end of summer to the beginning of fall. Spooky atmosphere where you play (almost) entirely underwater.
Crow Country came out earlier this year and definitely capitalizes on PS1 era horror games. In that vein also, Signalis is an excellent cerebral sci-fi horror.
Horror comedies are definitely a thing, but tbh I’d still consider Alan Wake 2 an outright horror even with the lighter stuff! Very spooky elements, with great writing and story crafting. Bonus points if you play Remedy’s other games for the Easter eggs
None of the others are as good as Until Dawn, imo, unfortunately :(
I keep hoping, but no joy every time
Not everything Le Creuset. They seem to be very similar to other kitchen brands (kitchenaid, Cuisinart, etc) in that they make a few excellent products, but the rest of their line is overpriced stuff that isn’t as good as other brands you could buy. Their Dutch ovens are good, for example, but not their French press so much.
It is possible to replace them, with a little research. Or just taking them to a phone repair shop if you’re too anxious for that
Damn, that really sucks, I’m sorry :(
Very interesting, thanks!
Have people forgotten about the used market? Buying things second hand is the way.
This comment really just hits every nail on the head for me. It could be that the ex is feeling bad for what happened, but wants to divert the blame/bad feelings onto OP.
It’s also rich to me when the cheating partner is ready to “put all the bad blood behind them” as if they don’t want to live in the stink of what they did any more. They’re happy now, why can’t you also be happy with them? Etc etc. As if they didn’t blow up everyone’s life with their choices.
