Pretty sure the blob restraining the powers of president in power is the obstructionist senate, mainly for a democrat president.

Yes I know the EU forced it’s will on Apple, that’s my exact fucking point.

It’s almost as if you don’t let capitalism completely rampant and create new age oligarchs then democracy works.

I guess also should watch an almost 2 hour podcast to find out it’s easier to call things the blob than Super PACs, lobbyist groups and think thanks. Thanks for the link.

  • No offense but this reads like an edgy teenager’s take on politics, was it the blob who prevented the 10 million people who showed for biden to not show up for Harris? Or was it their selfishness, sexism, racism, misguided idiotic leftism (like you see in lemmy comments about how this is revenge for not taking a stance on gaza)

How come the EU can force change on US companies yet the US fails to do so? Is the blob in the Us, just like alien attacks and pandemics and serial killers in movies?

  • I personally don’t feel like spending 700 or how many euros to play beat saber on my ps5.

Other games that might be awesome in this is ones were you don’t need to move around but benefit from being able to look around, so flight sims, driving sims, but there the chair setups are better imo.

Can’t really think of much else, that’s why VR is on the decline, really limited number of fun games to be had, or it would require some paradigm shift, like a strategy game but you are playing on the inside of a globe, but then that game would have to survive on being a VR exclusive.

  • In my laic opinion no criteria for fair use is fulfilled here, so it would be really hard to argue that it would set some harsher precedent that exists, in real life proving someone wanted what looks like something else will be hard to prove as they would need either the exact prompt and then prove what the author meant by that point, IANAL but AFAIK proving what someone was thinking when entered the prompt will be pretty difficult or it will have to be something obvious like “make it a slightly different version of that iconic blade runner picture”

Here the court will have documents showing that they tried to get permission to use the picture when denied they used something that’s essentially the same thing while also livestreaming themselves mentioning what they are ripping off, so it’s a much different case to some random person generating a similar picture.

This to me is very close to the Kanye New Slaves case, feel free to listen to it then go on youtube and checkout “gyöngyhajú lány” while you will find that kanyes version is slightly different, he entirely ripped the song off, then tried get permission afterwards, which he didn’t get and had to settle for undisclosed millions.

  • True that, it can be boring, personally I own an expanded version called Cheaters Monopoly, that one has some fun stuff like there is a card that says to not say anything, just take 150 from the bank and if anyone questions what you are doing they owe you 100. When in jail you literally get a handcuff put on you thats connected to the board and if you manage to take it off without anyone noticing and a player makes completes his turn you can get out of jail for free, you can steal houses and hotels and with the same rule if no one notices you can place it on your property.
