Yep, my point being that a trans man (AFAB) and a cis man (AMAB) both have their bed nucleus of the stria terminalis roughly the same size, twice the size of a woman’s. A woman’s is half the size of a man’s, regardless of whether she’s trans (AMAB) or cis (AFAB). So regardless of what the gender is assigned at birth, the relative size of the bed nucleus predicts the gender that the individual feels most comfortable as.

Their bed nucleus of the stria terminalis should be twice as large as a woman’s, and that’s what guided their gender identities. Not that I’m a biological determinist, just a strict physicalist with no belief in metaphysical choice superceding determinism, but a lot of times the brain’s development has recursive feedback loops such that smaller choices early on can alter the size of brain structures along with sex hormones and the development environment in the womb or even outside of it for a while, the earlier the more significant. All I know is that the size of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis is pretty consistently twice the size in men as it is in women regardless of the gender assigned at birth.

Is the reference frame the CMB? You’d think you could just choose the reference frame at that point and move however you want, but arguing the physics of hypothetical metaphysical beings probably doesn’t make much sense.

Part of me is still half-convinced that there are whole galaxy clusters of antimatter that are simply too far away from other clusters to produce any noticeable gamma rays, and the reason they didn’t interact near the beginning of the universe is the same reason the whole thing didn’t collapse into a super massive black hole: we don’t know yet, but probably along the same lines as dark energy. A lot of it did probably interact though and that’s where a lot of the CMB comes from.

I’m definitely a lay person though, I’m sure an actual physicist can tell me that’s definitely not the case, I just don’t know why not yet.

I do believe you have to have serious mental health issues to remain a billionaire, and I do pity them; in a perfect world the possibility of such wealth disparity wouldn’t exist, and those with those tendencies would get the help they need without being surrounded by yes-men hoping for a sliver of wealth. They are probably incredibly emotionally isolated and lonely, and the pain they cause through hoarding is inexcusable and it would be better for everyone if that wealth was redistributed, including themselves.

Their world seems so limiting. I wonder if that makes them feel safer or something.

Or if we’re talking Witcher 3, Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine. Both of those had an amazing amount of content, well worth it.

The whole release was early access in my opinion, they just weren’t honest about it. Eventually it was a really good game, but even then it didn’t have everything they’d advertised.

They all have that same weird mouthfeel after you’re done where you swear part of it is still on the roof of your mouth or between your teeth but you can’t seem to reach it or get rid of it, feels pretty gross.

Unlikely as it might be, maybe the 10% error rate is from gender queer people that haven’t realized/faced it yet.

Grey goo also doesn’t work because it’d almost certainly use the same building blocks as life, and in a competition with life, life’s probably going to be the winner. Even if it didn’t, unless it’s doing weird cold fusion subatomic interactions (probably impossible) to make more of whatever element it’s composed of, it’ll just run out of food in whatever local environment it’s in.

I’d personally prefer 12 months with 30 days each, a 6-day week (makes for even rotations in shifts, 4 on 2 off), and an inter-calary week of 5 to 6 days at the new year.

If we’re going for broke on this I’d also want to convert to the dozenal system over decimal, as 12 is more easily divisible by smaller numbers which means easier division for numbers we use more often (like 3 or 4), which means that ¼ would be 0.3 and ⅓ would be 0.4.

I mean if it’s abandonware it’s ethical to reverse engineer and open source the reverse engineered platform, maybe even fork it and provide some sort of extensible framework for various plugins, or convert the kernel to a new architecture or even virtualize it. Hopefully we can also work out the bugs and the more glaring issues soon (looking at you, upright vertebrae).
