I also had screen tearing issues immediately on startup into the mint installer. Had to run the installer in safe mode to get mint going. Once mint was fully installed and rebooted to my desktop for the first time, had the same screen issues as I did with the installer not in safe mode. So mint only worked during install and only in safe mode.
Maybe our issues are similar (I’m Nvidia 1080 card), but I was never able to fix mine.

Unfortunately “don’t give them money” doesn’t work. Bc commerce is global due to internet. There will always be uninformed buyers in every product space. And always buyers who don’t care.
My solution, posts like this. We should be informing others of these practices and discussing ways to bypass, repair, or disable blocks and unintended behavior on the products and services we purchase.

Under popular vote, DeSantis is still running and maybe now he gets 63 billion votes from Florida alone. The impact of this fraud (there are not 63 billion ppl voting in Florida) is bigger with no electoral college.
Other countries don’t have EC bc other counties don’t have our state and government structure.

Abolish electoral college is not the answer to these issues. Unless you have a new idea in mind. Electoral college is better than using popular vote. It helps prevent fraud from any one particular state.

Ooof. Jumping in to say im currently on an s9 that is dying and was thinking of going to the 23. Didnt even consider the notification light til seeing your post and some comments here.
There is an app (not mine) called aodnotify that only turns on the always on display under certain circumstances. Customizable kinda like different light colors were. This might help? I use it on my s9 but have no clue if its updated or compatible with newer phones.
