But potatoes are also called Erdäpfel (ground apples) or in southern dialect Krombire (bent pear). In Germany they are called Kartoffeln (which is also a slur for the Germans itself).
But potatoes are also called Erdäpfel (ground apples) or in southern dialect Krombire (bent pear).
