I just googled that. You can turn it off by pressing simultaneous buttons.

How to start your washing machine:

    1. Feed it with honey for the bees inside.
    2. Pet it until it purr.
    3. …

Purr like a kitty cat, buzz like a bee.

That’s how it sounds when I’m drying laundry.

Lol, that noise cats make when they stretch is oddly specific and I doubt any non cat/pet owners would actually know what that sounds like. Thankfully there’s subtitles!

Its nice to to know some places are trying on the manuals. I miss the ones from years ago which told you how to maintain the appliance. Even like things as simple as a fan.

Whoa that’s a super nice way of telling the user how different parts of the drier should sound. A+++ for this execution. I can see that they take right to repair pretty seriously (at least for diagnostics)

If my cat purred as loud as my dishwasher, I would be concerned I own a tiger.

Looks like an Army field manual. I would have said Marines, but there isn’t any color crayon marks.

There’s no crayon marks because they already ate them all.

I recently repaired an Ikea dishwasher. Turned out it was a Whirlpool-built unit. Decent one, at that.

Yeah you can deduce what’s under the hood from who you have to call when it breaks lol. I believe when needed to call Whirlpool for the dishwasher and the induction plate and Electrolux for the fridge. Mind you that all three appliances broke in the 4 years we’ve had the kitchen. The induction plate, twice.

Yikes! The latest generation of whirlpool products seem to be at a new low in terms of quality and reliability. I have no experience with induction plates/ranges yet, though it sounds like I’ll be getting plenty of calls on them when they become more popular around here!

    Not a bad idea.

New-to-you equipment can make all sorts of concerning sounds that make you question your choices. Having some idea of what to expect is kinda nice.
