Everyone knows that sailor moon would kick Goku’s ass in a fight anyway
By the power of Grayskull… I HAVE THE POWER!
Goku would absolutely shit on Sailor Moon.
I almost said “But Goku wouldn’t hit a girl” until I realized, no. He absolutely fucking would. He’s an equal opportunity ass-whooper.
He won’t just beat a woman, he will style on her

Situational as to the Goku we’re dealing with. Goku from Super? lol. Original or maybe Z? Odds are better.

In a boxing match maybe. But in an actual fight, they’re in different galaxies.
The power scaling of sailor moon is insane. She has reality warping powers. She has the ability to recreate the entire universe with single attack. Goku doesn’t stand a chance.
I’m genuinely interested, is that something she can do at will or is it just a sometimes power?
Honestly I’m not really deep in sailor moon lore. This is second hand from videos about anime power scaling. I’m not sure how situational it is, but her power always seems to grow to be as powerful as she needs it to be, and she has battled some outrageously powerful villains.
They covered this in Dragon Ball Super tournament of Power. Won’t give any spoilers, but the reference was obvious.
I want to combine them so it’s just a dude screaming while going through a Sailor Moon transformation scene. Also they are screams of fear.
They even had a magical girl transformation sequence in Dragon Ball Super’s tournament of power arc.

I have no idea what any of this means.
Magical Girl shows are things like Sailormoon.
The main character is, well, a magical girl. They often need to transform into the magical alter-ego so they can hide in plain sight, and it’s definitely not so they could re-use the animation in every episode to save money/waste time.
The sequence is often very dance-like, or almost like a photo-shoot. Very traditionally feminine.Dragonball-Z was one of the first main-stream anime for boys that was shown on TV in North America.
The main characters are aliens who can turn into a “super” form, and they generally change the way they look during a transformation sequence. It’s often just turning blond.
The sequence is often clenching your fists, flexing all of your muscles, and doing a battle-cry.Here is Sailormoon’s Magic Girl transformation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyVR0GhVBH0
DBZ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0vWx9VjGe0I love it when folks such as yourself take time to share these insights. I don’t feel left out anymore… Cheers and Happy Sunday to you!
OK. Great explanation. Now explain super sonic.
Not sure if /s, but Super Sonic was inspired by the super saiyan transformation, Sonic just happened to make it to American shores before DBZ. 🙃
