Very excited for them. Means lots more content coming. I already have 70 hours in the game and got all the achievements so I can’t wait for more. Actually picked this up alongside Palworld. Tried out Palworld, it was ok. Started Enshrouded and got addicted. Went back to Palworld and it just felt stiff and janky in comparison so I refunded Palworld. Enshrouded just ticks so many boxes for me the right way. It’s intuitive, has a great introduction and leads you through things.

I even looked at Nightingale when it came out yesterday and while that might eventually be good it doesn’t seem to have the polish of Enshrouded.

I debated between Enshrouded and Palworld and picked Enshrouded; sounds like I made the right choice!

I mean they’re both open world survival games, but they’re also both pretty different from each other in terms of theme and gameplay.

Just to preface, I played and pretty much finished Palworld before I got Enshrouded. I really liked Palworld, for some reason all of it just kinda hit for me and I had a lot of fun. I sunk days into the game over the past couple weeks, but now I’ve done what’s there. I got Enshrouded, and while I do see the appeal and I do like what I’ve played so far, it definitely feels less balanced for anyone playing with less than two people. Also the fact that there are no world settings is pretty strange to me, when Palworld is the same age and at about the same stage of development and they have all kinds of server/world settings you can tweak, even after first starting said world.

I’ve been playing Enshrouded pretty much exclusively with friends (which seems like what their major focus was).

I don’t think it’s really fair to compare a game’s age based on its release date. There’s often years of development prior to a release.

Enshrouded also just has a crazy amount of content and a crazy large map … like you don’t even realize at the start just how much there is to do (at least I didn’t). We’ve been exploring more and more of the map the past few days and it’s just HUGE.

Point being, presumably they just focused on different parts of the experience.
