When I bought Fallouts 1, 2 and Tactics from EB like 15 years ago I couldn’t run them even with the disc in the drive. The shitty securom was broken and refused to recognise the disc. It was only thanks to pirates that I was able to crack them and play the copies I fucking paid money for.
DRM is cancer.
It isn’t just housing it’s infrastructure in general. Governments are happy to bring in more bodies to fill jobs and pay taxes but don’t bother to plan accordingly and infrastructure takes a long time to build leading to a lagging effect.
Hospitals, transit, housing, etc. It’s all being overwhelmed right now.

I’m not disagreeing with you because I know terms like classic are entirely relative but holy shit referring to fortnight as a classic nearly triggered a mid-life crisis. Holy hell. Ow.
Hear hear. Soul was a great movie because it was fun for kids but spoke to adults. Pixar does that a lot. A good kids movie is just a good movie that’s appropriate for children. Sure you can feed kids entertainment slop and it might even make bank but if you’re trying to make a film and not just a vehicle for the line to go up then slop is not it.
Hale is an incredible VA and she has had more roles than there are grains of sand.
It’s also funny when she voices multiple characters in the same game like Killer Frost and Hawk Girl in Injustice.
It also removes any sense or individuality. Contrasted with clones who frequently customised their armour.
Furthermore, if the manufacturer wants to pretend that they’re selling you a perpetual license to use the hardware or whatever legal bullshit they came up with on the back of a cocktail napkin between lines of coke then they can’t advertise using the words buy, own or anything similar without explicitly indicating in the largest font that you aren’t the owner of the product.
There’s also a lot of difference in mocap vs traditional animation. When characters are animated they follow certain principles that aren’t realistic but result in pleasant and entertaining movement. Real humans and creatures don’t behave this way.
So when animators are working on live action films they have to carefully balance the adherence to these principles with the realism of the scene.
There’s obviously liberties taken (the mocap data is always cleaned up before being applied to a character) but think of the difference between an explosion in a Michael Bay film vs one caught on someone’s camera in real life.
Should be made with lime juice and simple syrup. Both ingredients every bar will have.
One thing that always jumps out to me with each of these is that these videos are all just a sequence of 3 second clips stitched together.
I know all film consists of discrete shots edited into a larger piece but there’s something mechanical about these. Like I’m watching a slide show that’s just been placed in chronological order.
I wish Boltgun had held my attention like I wanted it to. I really loved it and want more but the loop didn’t remain as fresh as I’d wished. Maybe this DLC can do that and if I’m lucky they might expand the Boltgun series beyond Ultramarines who frankly get a way oversized slice of the IP attention.
Look, I wouldn’t mind a remake in whatever gamebryo engine they’re using today but my confidence in their ability to accurately portray the originals without missing out on the intricacies of them isn’t particularly high.
To name two off the top of my inebriated head; becoming a pornstar and murdering children are two things I can’t see Bethesda including in a remake of Fallout 2.

New Vegas gets a pass because it was made in 18 months.
The reason why restaurant tipping is usually percentage based is because the level of service expected scales with the price of the items on the menu. The expectations on servers in fine-dining is a lot higher than a neighbourhood pub and so is the price.
It’s just extremely overused. There are other words that could be used but slammed makes it’s way into every second article which is becoming an indicator of a low effort article.
The fact that shrink-wrapped agreements aren’t automatically void worldwide is a fucking abomination. No you shouldn’t get to push a legally binding contract on me after I paid for the product. It’s my property now and if you want to require a license agreement after the sale then I should be able to decline it for a full refund fuck you.
