Check out these guys’ farm maybe
I’d vote for you for AI overlord
I like to play DCS, a flight sim that is basically also a memory leaking machine because old spaghetti code so I use mine for sure.
With that said in other progeams/games it’s awesome to have so much overhead.
If you’re a cis man, it isn’t hard to get done. My urologist talked about the finer points of sci-fi while my procedure was done and then he mentioned that men often use events like march madness to conveniently allow themselves to be lazy. He was so cool. I want to be my urologist when i grow up.
The procedure sucks for folks who might not have the safety net like I did for it. I realize that. But if you do I have to say that it’s much better than for a woman and that you are being a feminist warrior for your wife/SO. Anyway I encourage all guys to get it when they feel they are ready.
Also bringing your semen sample in a little lab bottle to your doctor is weird AF.
I’m glad you’ve got peace with that but I don’t envy you for having to go through it ❤️
Not OC, but an important tenet of Buddhism as you probably know is known as the “First Noble Truth,” which states that “life is suffering.” The second through fourth noble truths basically tell us to cease attachment and desire and to live a life based on “right living” to avoid the problems caused by attachment and suffering.
I think this is where OC has an issue and I agree because sometimes being a human sucks and you need some escapes from that suffering. I consider myself a Buddhist as well, and while many Buddhists will talk of the “middle way” between living a conventional life and living a life that tries to get rid of all attachments, I find myself mostly leaning toward the conventional ways of alleviating suffering like playing video games and smoking weed.
Tldr: living like a monk isn’t easy (or something I want) but the Buddhist worldview helps me make sense of the world so I use it.
“German Duck People” is hilarious. Either the name of a cult or a band.
Or maybe Kurtzgesagt.
That narrator is so calming when he talks about ways we can all spontaneously die off.
Jablinski rocks like that
To add on: questioning and reflecting on your behaviors is the first step.
I’m definitely guilty of some of this too and being more mindful of it has been… a process… that isn’t easy but helps me a lot.
Don’t hold back! Tell Big Tea what you think!
(I personally like Green Tea and lighter varieties but I have to be… in the mood. I’m always in the mood for coffee on the other hand.)
I love how they put that at the end of their (awesome) Christmas album.
Adventure Time
I gotta say one “good” thing about Xitter being so stupid is that I don’t doomscroll the site like I did when I was on. While I’m glad that Nitter exists because we need to keep an eye out for crazy, anyone who wants to avoid doomscrolling and losing brain cells might want to skip that link for their mental health’s sake.
Does it matter? Download a few movies for an 8 hour flight. Not a big deal on any device.
Also I still think this product is horrendously overpriced but it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
I experienced this in Taiwan to less of a degree so thanks for making me never want to go to Nepal because that gives me anxiety just imagining it 😆
Like someone else said it’s gotta be a result of the voting for the awards being awful. I wanted to like Starfield and (ducks down) even got it early at the higher price.*
But yeah lol innovation is a joke. Makes me feel bad for the devs who really made innovative stuff this year.
*To be fair I had a shitty week before that and needed a new Bethesda game to make my life less awful so it…worked? It was my comfort food ok???
This is where the “what if you could change your direction in the multiverse” aspect dies for me: my kids. I wouldn’t trade them for any better choices on my end.
That said I’d totally have brushed my teeth more when I was younger. That can’t have ripple effects can it? (Twilight zone music intensifies)
Regarding music: the concerts I missed out in haunt me!
You seem pretty similar to how I was in school. My way of revisiting that is understanding it now that I’m a teacher. I think it makes me way more effective. Not perfect but able to connect and engage students more as well as encourage them to not fear being challenged.
This is a great, nuanced post. Musk is still an asshat and we should still get HSR but there are a lot of practical reasons it’s harder in the US. Part of that is the lobbying of the automobile industry. Obligatory “fuck cars.”
