They said they believe.
Only knowledge has sources; but beliefs sound cool.
I don’t know why I used a semicolon there, but it’s staying.

They do this with Early Access and people still lose their shit about empty content and unfinished graphics in a game they paid $10 for.
When people make me play Monopoly, I always take the housing shortage strategy for the guaranteed fast win. People hate me, but rules are rules, and I hate that game.
It looks awkwardly concerned that it’s been spotted.
Call me pretentious, but I genuinely forget about Facebook and that lots of people still care about it.
And this is why you don’t get invited into other people’s showers.
But will it blend?
I’d be surprised if it lasted longer than any other socially progressive trend. A few weeks, tops, with largest proportions falling off in the first week.
This is the reality of social momentum these days. Resistance is no threat because it has extremely brief lifespan before moving onto the next thing to be a part of.
Stay a while and listen.
I go a step further and block them in DDG. This includes any “article” I have to scroll through to find the answer.
I hear the Nintendo war drums…
Well it’ll inevitably happen anyway haha.
But hold onto the old one, it’ll be worth a lot one day.
“Well back in my day, we used to call that micro USB.”
“Wooooow. I know these! They’re so hard to come by. I’ll give you $1.2M!”
Which, adjusted for inflation, is about $3000 in today’s money.
Yeah, you can just get a $5 asapter if you really didn’t want to keep a couple cables lying around in the drawer.
The story I hated.
I made my character based around John Coffey from Green Mile, but like he’s the bad ass everyone thinks he is. I knew I wanted to drop INT and CHA for brute strength and constitution. I was ready to do everything possible to dominate the Wastelands… But that intro… Just the character creation…
It’s like, if you weren’t drawn toward making a character bio based around the white nuclear family, you were never going to enjoy the intro at all, and you’d put off the main quest as long as possible to go do all the crazy shit you hit the wastelands for.
“It’s time to find Shaun.”
“But-”
“No. You’ve murdered everything, you’re an absolute beast. You are all that is chaotic-neutral in the wastelands. It’s time to finally start quest 2 of the main quest.”
“But I’m not a family man! He’s not even mine! I only met that bitch at the bar the night before!!”
“Well, that’s not what the game says-”

Not to sound ignorant, but I am; what’s the difference between this and say the 3rd gen? I borrowed one many years ago and I read with it just fine. I can’t really imagine it needing much else since, apart from a screen dedicated for reading, I have everything else in other devices already.
Edit:
- 7″ glare-free display
- Adjustable warm light
- 16GB of storage
- Waterproof IPX8 2M, 60 MIN
- Weeks of battery life
- USB-C charging
Yep, nope, I don’t get it. They’re at 12th gen and I can barely understand the point. But now they accommodate for reading in the ocean, but somehow no accessibility features. Cool.
How dare you propose freedom in the land of the free. No freedom for you! Not until you pledge an allegiance.
I think you underestimate how well developed the VA industry is in Japan
Oh, no. That’s the point! It’s so, so good. If English dubbers just copied it enough, it would still be decent enough. They don’t have to explore, practice, or come up with excellent VA, just copy, even amateurishly, and it’ll be good.
I think the issue is many English dubbers try really hard to speak to match the mouth movements and it ends up sounding so unusual. But also, stuff like choosing some young high pitched voice when the original actor was a deep sombersome voice that matches the character’s appearance and demeanor.
I don’t think the English dub is good enough.
That’s usually the case, which I find unusual since the original voice acting is there; just copy it.
Half the “gamers” I am friends with play CoD on nVIDIA laptops, with a couple that wanted more serious with a PC and switched to AMD.
I personally have bounced between the two with no bias over many years. I just get what’s best at the time and don’t care about the label on them. Right now, AMD offerings are a clear winner. It’s a no-brainer.
And as things have gone, it’ll be nVIDIA’s turn again at some point.
