Yup, even killing 99% of the population leaves 8,00,000 people, and many of them won’t develop cancer fast enough to keep the population from continuing.
No thanks, I enjoy watching tankies and other terrible people get downvoted into oblivion in an exchange with one other poster instead of getting a ton of repetitive replies telling them they are wrong.
It doesn’t take a lot of effort for a few shitty folks to silence people they hate by quickly down voting anything that comes from a small instance. While the instance that I know of disabled the downvotes to improve the experience for users of their instance, I don’t see their stuff in the All feed very often so they are probably still being silenced outside their instance.
I don’t remember people talking about the metaverse except for mocking the legless mii inspired avatars.
There were a lot of ads pretending to be articles.
Can we jam some crypto and NFTs into that bad boy?
Apparently the announcement was made in stealth mode.
Lucifer was cast out of hell for forming the first union.
I’ve seen it used in media far more than in person. Mostly for soldiers that stuck around after wars wound down or wealthy people buying fancy homes in tropical locations.
The people I’ve worked with in tech from Scotland and England who have lived in the US long term but without becoming citizens don’t even use the term. Honestly most people don’t really use labels, just refer to someone in tech being ‘from a country’ when it comes up whether they became citizens or not.
Migrant worker is the term for expats who aren’t white.
I’ve never heard the term used for anyone with dark skin or from anywhere other than the US, Canada, or western Europe.
I wonder if enough technicians go to heaven could the pearly gates can be automated so St Peter can finally retire.
They see themselves on an extended holiday of multiple decades.

That’s because it is.
Context really matters I don’t have an opinion on a lot of sports due to disinterest while other people make their opinions on sports their personality. But there are some things that people should have opinions on even if that opinion is ‘leave it to the experts’.
Having an opinion that is terrible might be worse than not having an opinion at all. For example, not having an opinion about other races would be better than having racist opinions.
I think what you are really asking is if people should have opinions about the things that affect them. Yes, they should have opinions about those things.
The people that moved to streaming to get away from commercials switched a long time ago. Others watched the streaming sotes that had commercials because it was free or aignificsntly cheaper than cable.
Of course being greedy companies means they want both the subscriptions and the ad revenue.
Looks like the monk confused happiness with being content.
People hated him because he spoke the truth.
It really sucks being a parent with ADHD having a kid with ADHD understanding the struggles while also having to say “You need to figure out what will work for you to focus on this stuff. Also, just try some of these suggestions to see if they work instead of refusing to try at all.”
Like I understand the struggle and still end up sounding like that just because figuring out something to improve the situation is necessary although it isn’t quite the same thing as ‘try harder’. Just keep trying until you figure out something that improves the situation.
Don’t remember ever seeing one of the hats in person, but that could be due to moatly avoiding that type of person or setting where they would be worn.
The stupid flags were fucking everywhere from 2016 through 2021. Saw a few flags this year, but not nearly as many as apparently the novelty wore off even though most people in the state voted for that jackass again because Americans don’t ever learn from their mistakes.
